WEB.v3 story from 2026-08-20 (Dockolo), still in New. Checked against origin/dev and the API's origin/develop on 2026-10-13.
| The story asks for | Today |
|---|---|
| VAT category selector on the product form | Dropped by design
There is no Product.VatCategory column. The DDL that landed on 2026-08-20 says: "VAT resolves from the CUSTOMER, not the product." |
Wholesale.VatRate administration (country × category × rate × validity, EU seeding) |
Dropped by design
There is no rate table. The rate is per article, and the customer decides whether it is charged. |
| A VAT rate per product | Done
The rate is SupplierArticles.VatRate. It is editable in the Dockolo catalogue article dialog and the supplier article dialog, it is a required field in the catalogue import, and it shows as a column in the catalogue list. |
| Per-customer reverse-charge override and VAT number capture | Done
The customer dialog has the VAT number and a VAT treatment override, including Export. A VIES check and a VAT-risks page are covered by e2e ( wholesale-vat-check, wholesale-vat-risks). |
| Show the derived treatment vs. the override | Done
Invoice detail shows the applied treatment. The customer dialog shows the resolved figures, with the override applied or the treatment inherited. |

It is a WEB.v3 User Story in New.
"Wholesale VAT: EU-wide, UNCL5305 categories, reverse charge." The API child (#8274) is closed. The UNCL5305 mapping still matters for the Peppol/UBL invoicing work (BZ-WHS-003).
